A Go module for JSON-described CRUD-style web applications. It includes request routing, SQL helpers, template rendering and model/filter registration through an HTTP controller.
Application structure
Project settings live in conf/config.json and component settings in component.json. Applications usually embed genelet.Filter and genelet.Model, then register factories that return request-local values. This registration is an important difference from the class-loading conventions in the other implementations.
Runtime and source
The reviewed go.mod declares Go 1.22 and a go1.26.6 toolchain directive. It contains explicit dependencies, including SQL drivers, so the old claim that Go Genelet uses only the Go core library should not be repeated.
The README documents MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite driver names. It also describes authentication, CSRF and optional identity services. These features require application configuration; the source review is not a security audit.
Start with the right example
The README mentions samples, but the reviewed repository tree contains no samples directory. Start from the current source and tests rather than following a nonexistent sample download.
Follow the Go getting-started guide.
